Recipes and Cookbooks Galore

I am a collector of cookbooks from every store,
I can never have enough I always need more.
Cookbooks with pretty food pictures galore,
I find them on every shore.
When I travel near and far,
I find a cookbook that is a real star.
With thousands of great recipes to cook,
How in the world do I just take one look?
Cookies are oh so sweet,
Much better than a red beet.
Maybe I need to look up meat,
We can add some cheese and let’s eat.
Maybe a salad will be healthy,
But I don’t think it will make me wealthy.
Hundreds of cookbooks are lined up in a row,
I hope they do not fall on my toe.
Now off to my kitchen to see what I will cook,
Should I read a cookbook for just one more look?

Thanks for reading and writing to me. Glad you enjoyed my fun write. I love reading cookbooks. I have some as gifts from over the years. They are great when traveling for learning about the world's different foods. Have a wonderful day writing away....................

cute poem. I used to have quite a collection too, but mostly they just gathered dust and I keep making foods that I have memorized the recipes for because they became the favorites of me and hubbie11

Thanks for reading and writing to me. I know what you mean. Many have come as gifts. One from Florida has roadkill, gator and possum in the book. As they say, just use chicken. They are great when traveling for learning about the world's different foods.
