Recipe Dilema
Recipe Dilemma
So many different recipes
I don't know what to make,
Some are just mix and set,
While others I need to bake.
So many different recipes
I don't have time for them all,
For every one is a favourite,
To pick just one's a hard call,
So many different recipes
I don't know which ones to use
Afternoon tea guests are coming
So soon I will have to choose.
There's many different recipes
I've decided I will make two,
Each will contain chocolate,
With that there'll be no argue.
Chocolate cake is a favourite,
To serve with a dollop of cream.
Then I'll make chocolate eclairs
For these eclairs are a dream.
Afternoon tea is now over,
Those recipes were a mistake,
For all my guests were on diets,
Of sweets they couldn't partake.
The next afternoon tea I host
My guest will never feel lonely.
The invitation will clearly state.
'For chocolate lovers only'.
