Rebound Love

You never check up on me like you used to
Why don't you try to get me to chase you?
I'd pay attention if you wanted me to
It's been over, we know so well
But these games we played together were all I had
You were all I've ever had
Do you think of me after all this time that's passed?
Some nights I'm fine and you don't run through me
Some weeks you're the only thing in here
Then I remember how you spoke of her
And in your eyes I blindly saw your old love
Stuck in there, stuck inside there, got me stuck
Just some false hope lingering inside
Impossible to blank out this old story
Beyond the bounds, beyond the bounds
