Rebirth

Fading eyes, no love left they can see
Seeding lies, a loss that brought disease
Never a question, only sleepless words
Never with spirit, there’s nothing to be heard

Forming holes, darkness and a void
No one knows the truth you will avoid
Never a person, only mirrored masks
Never again, your mind will not relax

People gone, lost beyond your reach
One more song, another death to teach
There was never a reason, only fear of death
There was never a truth, there was only your last breath

A place forgot, too painful to recall
Far too lost, the climb is just a fall
Forever becoming the thing that you despise
Never returning unless you realise

Fading lies, the scars now you can see
Seeing eyes you lost within disease
Only one question: why upon this earth?
Only one spirit, it’s felt within rebirth

No more holes, darkness balanced light
People flow within a new found sight
A place remains that love will never leave
Never again will I forget to breathe
