Stark contrasts on a background of lucent wonder Stillness prevails but all is not what it seems Snowy branches cry tears of dripping ice Into crystal clear waters of streams Harsh winds whip up suddenly unannounced And threatening clouds begin to form and swirl The landscape stirs as if awakening from a dream Once silent now revealed the world unfurls 1/13/2022
