Rebel Without a Cause

His title roles were all misunderstood
An angst ridden protagonist, dark outcast
From East of Eden to Giant one could
Not know that Giant role would be his last
...a cultural icon was soon to blast

I toast to you, the late and great James Dean
A man whose trade is one of arts cuisine
His method acting brought him much applause
As his emotions crafted every scene
He was a young Rebel Without a Cause

Ah yes, I remember him, man of mystery and sultry look. The memory lingers in this special verse.

A fine write! "Rebel Without a Cause" is my all-time favorite movie. Both James Dean and Natalie Wood were sensational in that film.

Ahhh, I remember that movie, East of Eden. What a marvelous drama it is. And REbel without a Cause. who would have ever guessed he would be dead so soon after it? You did very well writing of him. WAs this perhaps for the contest on tv shows? well, these were movies but they did show them on TV too as reruns. As for the tragic contest, no it's not up my alley. I am probably going to try others first! thanks for suggesting it to me. Luv, Andrea
