Rebel With a Cause

A Rebel With A Cause.
.
Am I a lesser man
Because I didn’t live up to others
Ideals and expectations
I may have lost direction
Does that make me a failure
After all I’m only human
And have many imperfections 
.
Who’s to say what is right or wrong
I’ve always been a rebel
Not prepared to sing everyone's song
And conform
To societies norm
Yes I’m different
An individual
And that’s how I was born
.
Perhaps if others lived up 
To my ideals and exasperations
Maybe the world would be a better place
For despite my failures
I have a big heart
And only have
One face
Not two.
