Reassurance To My Obscurity

Cold & battered feet
Travel down a darkened street
One night shines
All others fade to gray
Alone venturing down a darkened alley
Trying to find a piece of hope
Maybe I lost it when I fell into shadow?
Maybe I forgot it when I awoke from my broken dream?
Still it seems
I'm in need of hope
Some reassurance to my obscurity.
