Reasons To Be Glad

You think you are sad,
because your eyes are closed.
get up and see,
others are not in a bed of rose.

somewhere in a n accident,
a mother cries.
sitting beside her dead child,
prays "let me die"

somewhere there is a dad,
who counts his days.
his newly married son,
had thrown him away.

somewhere a mom,
wipes her tears.
her son is in the borders,
fighting without fear.

somewhere a child works
12 hours a day.
the rest of his life is not different,
and he has nothing to say.

we all are aware of these,
but still we are sad.
we are pretty selfish, knowing
we have enough reasons to be glad....
