Reason

I speak with reason
A cause to deliver the beauty of
Pace, pause and metaphors
Poetic to the core

My words are bottomless
Perfect
Yes...they are flawless
Red thumbs snap in threes and fours
Just to bring my words applause
No but wait -

There's so much more..

My words were born to crucify
Hurt lie and then deny
Memories they pacify
Subliminal
They're nothing short of criminal

Like grains to sand and pen in hand
Inseparable
My words to man
A thief of time and
peace of mind
My words were born to testify

Guilty, vindictive my words are addictive
Lies, truth
My rhymes come in twos
You get it,
Don't you?

They're here to confuse...

One day when it finally clicks
You'll find the missing l in ink
Or so you think...
And one more time you'll think and think
My words were born
To make you think
