The monster atomic bomb that was too big to use

The Tsar Bomba, meaning ‘Emperor of Bombs’. The Soviet Union detonated it on October 30, 1961. The explosion had a yield of 50 megatons, equal to 50 million tons of TNT. That would be 1,500 times more powerful than the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined.
