Realization

I have spent too long, angry and heated 
Longing for answers I'll never receive 
The search ends today, I finally learned 
To focus less on how I was treated 
And more on what you were longing to say 
Keeping your secrets left you defeated
I should have known that it was not my fault 
You were just ashamed of having cheated 
Crafting an image for me to perceive 
I finally learned, the search ends today
