Reality of a Fairytale

Push that girl aside
We could make history
Just you and me
You know I'm right
We could be the new romance novel
A modern day fairy tale
If I just had the chance to make you see
Just a chance to have you look at me
Look at me like that
The way you look at her
You're the only reason I keep going
My one belief
Be more than picture that I hold at night
I'm sick of my emotions being a diary
Let's make this a two person love story
Glance my way and take a chance
I'm not too young for this dance
All you need to do is give me a chance
I could be anything you want me to
And I'd go all out because I know I'd be lucky to be with you
I know I'm wasting my time
Cause you're a good guy and you wouldn't think it's right to leave her for young me
I guess you're right
She's got it all
We're nothing more than a fairtytale
We could never be
