Reality Arises

Each day goes by one by one, until each day is done Your only goal everyday is to make sure life is fun. People stress about everything, gotta do this and that They fight about things like money and cars, even the dog and cat. They argue over the smallest things, yet never take the time To realize that their lives could eventually stop on a dime. They need to open their eyes and see what really counts They need to view their gifts in life, try using different amounts. They strive and strive for what they want, never happy with what they've got Yet never see what's in front of them to realize they've already got a lot. The smallest things matter most, like family and love The two most important things are self-confidence and your Lord up above. People need to clean their consciences and see what their about They need to ask their Lord for help whenever their in doubt. Why is it so blinding, all the materialistic things around? Why do people run their families and friends into the ground? For wants and needs are things that will forever remain... But without peace and harmony, you'll never be truly whole within your own domain.

I really love it when the writer brings his/her faith into the poem. I'm a God fearing, Jesus loving, Bible thumping, Satan stomping,.... Episcopalian and know the source of my strength... Love ya... Jake

Know love, know peace. No love, no peace. Strong piece!

Great poem about the reality of life. As the saying goes.. without the Lord as your main focus on life, using His example of Love, we might as well be 'chasing the wind'. Welcome to P/Soup
