Reading Life

In my life, I have seen
lonely people, empty dreams.
Pockets full of nothing
except for an old tontine.
Oh life may be a useless cause,
for yes, it has, so many flaws.

I know the words, read the book,
and maybe, I have mistook,
life for what it really is…
