Lust my companion
Just sitting here
Consumed in hate
Controlled by fear

Troubled inside
By the sound of my heart
Piece by piece
I fall apart

Envy the moon
Just a reflection
Opposite light
Earth’s collection

Training my greed
It’s my cover
For underneath
There is another

Traverse the mind
Of hero’s pride
Behind the wall
By her side

Never knowing
Just the rage
Satan stalking
Every page

A hollow whisper
Of a trembling hand
Upon the sea
I try to stand

Sorrow’s companion
Jesus’ touch
Knowing the truth
Hurts so much

Conversation alive
Soul is dead
Video on
I am read
