Razor Blades

Crying because I have to let go of you
Trying to conceal these tears, but they spill out
It’s complicated how I feel, you know?
Encountering situations that bewilder me and fill my mind with doubt

Making my brain go insane…
Oceans separate us now…
We went our separate ways
My train of thought has zipped passed me
Razor blades cut out my desires
Desires that tame the fires…
Put aflame the disgraceful name of fame

Shedding crimson regret…you’re my gracious outlet
Shredding away fake delight
Making me feel numb and dumb and so upset
Embracing mesmerizing flight

Making my brain go insane…
Oceans separate us now…
We went our separate ways
My train of thought has zipped passed me
Razor blades cut out my desires
Desires that tame the fires…
Put aflame the disgraceful name of fame

You don’t know my mind…you’re “too cool for school”
Let me fix you…place your feet in my shoes
You fool that don’t know how to use a garden tool
Let me fix you…and stop listenin’ to the blues!

Making my brain go insane…
Oceans separate us now…
We went our separate ways
My train of thought has zipped passed me
Razor blades cut out my desires
Desires that tame the fires…
Put aflame the disgraceful name of fame

Desires that tame the fires…
Put aflame the disgraceful name of fame

Razor blades cut out my desires
Razor blades cut out my desires
You stabbed me with your odium
I abhor you now, but somehow, I rose up above the pressure of living this life
I am as strong and unwavering as titanium
I implore you now to adore me, for I’ve spent hours hoarding peace in my life…sweeping away the dust of strife
