Raucous Ravens

- with Andy Mackey

Smiling wide
Listenin’ to the Honied Lady’s tones
Kari Crow
Pickin’ on a pile of chicken bones
Singing happy songs; singing one sad song
‘Bout blue birds singing of red birds gone
While we rattle on, like raucous ravens

Shinin’ black
Rockin’ forth and rollin’ back
Singing sad songs; singing one happy song
‘Bout red birds singing of blue birds gone
While we rattle on, like raucous ravens

Sittin’ pretty
Pluckin’ out a li’l ditty
Singing old songs; singing one real old-timey song
‘Bout blue birds singing how red birds gone
While we chatter on, like raucous ravens

Smiling wide
Knowing what the Honied Lady knows
Singing old songs; singing one brand new song
‘Bout red birds singing of blue birds gone
So we sing along. like raucous ravens
