Rather Have You

Always longed to be to lot of places
and for good reasons see many faces
all from interesting different races
after being given a scale of preference
Let be rather be in your presence

More than the company of the Queen of England
much more than the fun and fantasy of Disneyland
way much more than the bliss and serenity of an Island
if there be of all these luxury a Merit
Let me rather be in the company of the Holy Spirit

If my endowments will walk me to the Hall of Fame
and before you stiffen my flimsy frame
Puffing me up to forget that I'm but a lame dame
seeing that it's latter is in disguise great shame
Let me rather be called after your own Name

From me keep at bay the Gold mine
the costliest of Diamonds that are fine
even the most Ostentatious clothing line
like choice silver, refine me till I'm Crystalline
So with you, I'd rather Wine and Dine
