Rapunzels Untangled Mess

brushed soft hair Rapunzel’s untangled mess sunlight flickering her heart beating as prince climbs up her nest
snips her braids cast down eyes unattached love they gleefully slide he grabs her hand they bury cuts
witch returns to empty tower, she’s ill hurls herself toward earth she soars on scales flickering loathsome flames
dark smoky plumes of hate follow princess fairytale sunrise fool closes eyes Aurora wrapped in light
sweet children inherit blooming kingdom honored in parade rose petals bless the honey’d throngs
death has come to evil explosive laud seamless confetti balm of kindness spurs their rich golden life
throne smiles out eyes twinkle short hair in style new crop of kids play imagine balls twirling crowns

Kim, I love the way you have typed this. It is such a difficult task to get this exactly write, and yet you did. It must be the librarian in you! Bravo! I like this every step of the way!

This is so creative. I love how you flowed the words to simplify the fairytales and not loose them. The last stanza is wonderful to bring in the present. Jeanne

This is a very imaginatively designed fairy tale and I like how it went beyond happily ever after into the image of the children and of twirling "crowns" Was that symbolic for the hair as well?

Imagine them all dancing at the royal ball, crowns twirling around and around and yes crowns can be symbolic of hair. Thank you, Andrea, <3
