Rap Had Meaning

Rap.
Mistaken by many,
Left Behind, old storage of our minds.
Used to express,
pain and poverty,
Sleeping, one eye alert, the slum reeks,
Like a wasteland.
Hand on the .44,
No money, No family.Just the thugs and
the ghetto,
the deceased memorys.
Lyrics spoken, poetic geniuses.
Words of wisdom,
An art at its highest.
Explaining,
Informing,
Death hid in the streets.
Crying to mankind, help.
Like all poverty, left to die,
Screams silenced by fear.
Boycott by money media,
I despise, propaganda swallows the
thought of mankind, Killed the rap,
People did not listen, people did not help,
People forgot about them. All to blame,
the ones who judge, stop looking at the
cover, open and read, listen and learn.
now the new generation of rap,
Processed with money,
Lyrics with no meaning,
Girls, money and power.
Why not frowned upon
Why the rich succeed,
But the poor cant be freed.
Sickens me.
