Random Thoughts That Really Aren'T

Where honesty ends
And sanity begins

The reading of words
You swore you never wrote
When in fact you did

The reading of words
You swore you could have wrote
Though in fact you know you never did.

The community of poetry tied together so closely
One flowing into another
Without ever really touching or knowing
The face
That stares into space
Finding the words and trapping them with tapping fingers

Feeling inadequate one moment and oh so free the next
And always loving God
Trusting Him to see us all through!

Autumn - this is a wonderful poem that truly captures the essence of us poetic friends - I used to really trip on how close I became to all the people I had never met and most likely never will - then it dawned on me that just because I wouldn't recognize somebodies face doesn't mean i don't know them - The way us poets bear our souls I know those I'll never see much better than those I see everyday, except of course my wife her and I know each other amazingly well - God Bless
