Raising Sun

Running hard into the early raising sun
A warm breeze lifts off the river
Heart and breath feeding each other
My soul sings to the morning
It is good to be alive – come join me

G'day David... Morning is like the creation of a new beginning when you run towards the sun with natures chorus providing a gauntlet to make you believe that life is good. Thank you David - Lindsay

David this is so exquisitely beautiful! This is how I felt as I watched the sun rise on the Caribbean Sea from Mountain Top on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands! Thank you for articulating this in such a lovely way! Pandita

This poem eloquently captures the feeling I had in my morning jogging days. I especially like the line "My soul sings to the morning." You have penned a wonderful composition. Thank you!

this is really NICE. I like how you changed rising to raising. As if WE will be the ones to make the sun go up! Very cool poem
