Raising My Son

I struggle so much from day to day,
raising my son and how to live this way.
I do so good then I do so bad,
I wish tolerance was one thing I had.
I have raised my son almost alone,
but now we have a good, stable home.
We went from a moment when one parent became two,
and still I am not sure on what I am suppose to do.
Raising a child is a hard thing to do,
I am going to be completely honest with you.
One thing I have learned along the way,
you must love them that is all I can say.
As the time passes in this life,
I hope to be a good mother and wife.
All I can do is try my best to do right,
love him daily and kiss him each night.

We have two boys in a stable home and sometimes it can be very challenging. All you can do is teach them, set a good example and pray for them. Welcome to poetry soup.

Yes indeed..I would have to agree with the rest of the other comments. I personally don't have any kids but I've dated single mothers since the age of 18. So, I know it can vary from day to day. Stay strong!! INK-U-SCRIPT
