Rainy Puddles

Tears fell down like the rain,
Waterfalls she can’t explain,
Looking through the eyes of a child,
Long ago, she was so wild,
Late night sky, crystal clear,
Not a care, nor a fear,
Invisible at times some would say,
Had the power to make the gray clouds fade away,
Rainy summers she danced in puddles,
An Open heart that came on subtle,
Willows held her as shed sleep,
On an Island, where her secrets shed keep.

What a beautiful week of posting and sharing of some amazing poetry. So happy to see your poetry among them Sabina. May you find inspiration by reading some of the poetry written here by other poets also. Read and comment on their's and they will return in kind. Love, Carol
