"raining Thoughts"

Where is the shelter when the sky rains unhappy thoughts....
No coat or hat can deflect the ones that don't miss and are caught....
They de solve in our mind and prey on our thoughts and fears....
How long they stay is a question that no one seems to hear....
They can't be washed away or covered in shades and fake smiles....
There is no quick fix or a pill to take that could stop it for awhile....
Time will pass and the sun will shine and soon your day will be bright....
We just learn that its all game and you just have to see the light....
So when your happy and life is grand don't forget the rain that came in....
See the sky for what it is and you can weather these rains again....

Those unhappy thoughts can ruin a day..I hope that your day has been sun filled and filled with happy thoughts..I see that you have a solution to the problem..I am glad that you understood the emotion with which I composed "Had Times Been Different"..I am sorry about the losses in your life..Deaths of close family members that close together is really ruff..One doesn't get over one before another one happens..Sara

This is a message we should remember, Michael. Rain falls into our lives, but we have to keep hope and have faith that brighter days will come again. I should paste this on my wall for inspiration during the tough times. Excellent, uplifting poem! Love, Carolyn
