Raindrops in Suspense

      Raindrops in suspense
         from the gutter’s edge hang

Indecisive clouds stalled, then whisked away
in fits and starts all day

An easel indoors clears her throat
When will she have her say

the imagery in this poem is unique and engaging...I liked how you personified the easel. Masterful on your part.

Aw, shucks. Nothing to it, really. It was easel for this weasel.

Rain tends to dampen all activity. This poem tells how my desert weather has been for some time. I like the realism.

Realism is my forte, some say. Others maintain -- every dog has his day. ~ Arf-arf
