Raindrops

Upon this mortal world of ours Where human rights are being trampled upon And every step you take by the hours Leave prints of hopelessness and dejection And when you do look up to the skies From your eyes flow tears like raindrops Be not surprised when they do bring forth crops. When sadness cast a web upon your soul And the earth does cry out foul And your dreams emptied itself in mist While you are left with clenched fist For you are just a victim of human vice Believe me they will be just but a blessing in disguise.
