Rainbow of Dreams

At the end of every rainbow
Is where our dreams are made
And when they serve their purpose
They disappear and fade

Like a fine piece of art
They're painted in our mind
No two dreams are exactly the same
For they're truly one of a kind

Some dreams we remember
While others we forget
Some will make us happy
And those that make us fret

Some dreams we call nightmares
When the artist makes mistakes
Just one slip of the artist's brush
Is simply all it takes

No one knows who paints them
For his face has never been seen
Could an angel be the artist?
Or some kind of devilish fiend

So the next time you see a rainbow
Remember what I said
Prepare yourself for a sleepless night
As dreams start to fill your head
