Rainbow

If every single rainbow
had its own pot of gold
how much would we know
before we grew old?
All the decisions we make
and indecisions we have
Just plant a seed
and watch it flower
then tear it down
within the hour
Hope that all
has not been lost
Just give up
there’s too much cost
Empty words are promises made
Lies, the gifts they all gave
