Rainbow

I see in another a me
Someone I wish I could be
If only I were that free
Perhaps, introspection's
the key

A spectrum is what I
found
Absorbing light, without
a sound
White light is ebbing all
around
But inside, a rainbow of
colors abound

So what do I see when I
look at you?
A version of me that I
wish were true?

Nay, I recognize the
colors within
They are there, only a
little dim

Let it shine, let it shine. I fully understand this piece all too well. Nicely done!
