Rain Or Shine
The rain, it comes so fast this morn
I must close windows tight
To keep the water out for now
That gives me such a fright
But if you stand outside my house
Seeking shelter from the storm
I’ll open up my windows, dear
To make you free from harm
I’ll be your love giver
What you need from me
I’ll be your one provider
That, I hope you see
I’ll be your main supporter
Through your trying days
I’ll be all you want
For you are all I need
If the rain then pours thicker still
And my house falls far from view
I’ll leave my windows open
Just for only you
I’ll risk then all the damage
I do not really care
For I can’t go on ever happy
If you are still out there
I’ll be your love giver
