Rain Nap
This is my peaceful time of day
To grab a pen and write
Late in the day as clouds come my way
On a rainy day short of light
Raindrops tapping my window light
With question who are you
Good question and answer I might
A writer with nothing to do
Secret of life lo and behold
Flash the ultimate prize
But the cloudy day and raindrops soft
Has nod my head closed my eyes
