Rain Dance
Walking hand in hand,
towards a future unknown.
Encouragement and doubt,
things we’re being shown.
My accomplice in this world,
my forever always friend.
We’re dancing in the rain now,
hoping this will never end.
Come, hold me close to you,
keep me forever in your heart.
The rain beating harder now,
we’re so close, yet so far apart.
Damp skin against mine,
hot breath against my cheek.
Your eyes say you love me,
my strength grows so weak.
Please don’t say goodbye,
keep holding me in your arms.
Hold tight to the passion,
and let our love drive away the storms.
