Rain Dance

Dizzy from wet words the poet found rain Went out to shower with thunderous rhyme Bathed away cobwebs and sorrowful pain Penny for thoughts and he offered a dime A dizain washes away speechless grime Droplets from heaven reach out for true love Clouds gather mist with a pen from above Hailed be the mellow spring's fountain ink's source When earthworms dance with a spitting peace dove They spill wisdom as a matter of course 05th April 2020

Congrats! I'm delighted with these lines: "When earthworms dance with a spitting peace dove They spill wisdom as a matter of course." Thanks for my placement in your recently-judged contest. Likewise, for your comments. I do appreciate them. God bless you.

The strange thing here is that I’ve also been writing a poem with pennies and sliver coins! I enjoyed this very much!
