Rain Coat

Dripping beads of water
Slip down from my rain coat
They try to find a way under
Perhaps, escaping from the cold
But here, there is no sanctuary
Nor a sympathetic eye
For my coats synthetic nature
Is sure to keep me dry
Not for long, you see
Nature will always find a seam
But just for these few minutes
Is really all I need
