Rain Club

Solemn, arcane, Shooting, exploding Into millions of pearls with the speed of cocaine— Eroding, diluting, The oaks are bloating! They swallow the earth till the leaves are floating— One by one the army will follow, I must defend the rain. Emphatic, dictatious, Oh emperous one For everything lives and dies in your vein— Stock, automatic, And overly done To hell with applause for the rapturous sun— Set the controls; deploy the clouds! We must defend the rain.
