Rain Clouds

RAIN CLOUDS

Today Jesus created rain clouds
of golden-orange outlining the sky
and He placed a blue-gray mass of clouds
in the center of it all as we passed by.
His colors were so majestic and loud.
As I drove by in my car, my heart bowed.
Before dark, He hung two good luck rainbows mid-air,
reminding us His Covenant with us is still there.
A long, hot, dry summer,
and a cold, cold, wet winter
lingers on to make us shiver.
But Jesus never forgets us.
In Him we trust.
Along the way
amid the fluff
He paints a sky
for us to love.
