Rain

patters down on shattered lives.
puddles of reflection and pain.
trees drip tears, as if to
cry for lifes despair.

natures critters scurry for the wet, moist
ground and its offerings.
clouds above cleansed from rain; like
fresh bed sheets billowing in the sun.

a picnic has begun, again.
tasting of the light and bounty.
life is honey, with stings of reality.
pictures of the past faded ,but bring joy
for future hope and rememberance.
