Rain

In times of dispair.
          through days of rain.

     His spirit calls me,
          in my constrain.

     Forever guiding,
          his words are fate.

     My pathway eternal,
          through heavens gate.

     I chose to love him,
          then followed through.

     His love is everlasting,
          so faithful and true.

Hello,John... I'm smiling at your comment.. I wish the poet inside of me would surface.. i don't know why i have writers block... the poem i wrote last night was over a game.. of grab bag... " you know them candies ""sweethearts"" the ones that say all kinds of lovey dovey valentine words. Well we had to write a poem, over what the candy read. Well it was a cute challenge. So! yes, i wrote that poem " very quick, glad you enjoyed. As i do your persona.. Have a good night,..p.d.

Don't we need that place of peace and safety when it rains in our lives. As you say,we have the right to chose!

Great spirited rhyming in this poem, Aaron. It seems to have touched many. I love the image of the gate. Robert Frost wrote a short piece that reminds me of this"Home is the place where, when you have to go there, They have to take you in." ha ha. He had humor in this line but I believe their was a dribbling of God mixed in it too. Have a great day today..even better than yesterday! Gwendolen

Wow, John... I send some soup mail... ThroughAnd mentioned following faith... This poem has a moment one can breathe with each line... At this moment I can live my life and follow the things I know... Everlasting sounds good about now... I hear I feel, I live... And choose to follow through rain or not... Have a God, bless day..pd
