Rain

I woke and smiled to hear the rain That lashed against my window pane. It rained so hard I laughed with joy And splashed like I was still a boy. Perhaps you think I’m quite insane - But why do people hate the rain?

Because it takes away the SUN. (to answer your question) but yes, you are right, it would be nice to be able to abandon our adult ways and just splash in the rain.

I love a good rain, unless i have to go somewhere or walk my dog, she hates it. won't even go out when it rains, i have to drag her out the door. but at night oh it helps me to sleep. to stay inside and watch it is so relaxing. this was a great piece of poetry. thank you for reading and commenting on Heart of Gold. Yes Mother-in-laws are a joke over here also, but sometimes you get a good one like my daughter did. and of course my wife.

Not me Jack.. I luv the rain and when it is warm and rains it is the best ..like a free spring shower .. endless.. rain is refreshing and nourishing to Earth .. and plants..I luv plants..so rain is awesome luv.. as your great poem today..
