Rain
Listening to the rain as it falls outside my door
Remembering all that was said the day before.
Knowing deep down that nothing is impossible for this girl.
the pain she has held in all those years
Is starting to make life a struggle these days
No longer hiding in the shadows
ready to face her fears
Realizing how hard the future will be
now is the time to take control
If she ever wants to be happy in the world.
