Rain

As it rains,
I smell the air,
Feeling it drop,
Wetting my hair.
Tickling my face,
Caressing my skin,
Beautiful pleasures,
I never want to end.
Dancing around,
Singing aloud,
Whenever it rains,
Outside is where I'm found.
A treasures gift,
From up above,
Almost like the feeling
Of being in love.
How I long those nights,
When it rains so hard,
Thunder and lightning,
Drenching the yard.
Running barefoot,
Across the grass,
Wishing forever,
This moment will last.
Feeling free,
Once again born,
Washing away,
What's been torn
