Rain
Rain

Rain, pelting on brown leaves,
Causes premature falling.
I contemplate, droughts reprieve,
and night sounds calling.
Night sounds, that to a Creator rejoice,
So, while still among the living.
I too, begin happily lending my voice,
For rain, that God is giving.
