~ Raging River ~

Went down to the rivers edge today- jumped right in- wondering- fumbling- all about- asking- where- we're- going. Struggling swept away by the undertow-drowning strait to the bottom I floated; could already hear the vaulters- wailing together-at me from up under. As limp yes lifeless to the surface I rose; all-of-them pecking away; at my eyes... ! Time a drifter-is-never to be misconstrue. My hope for another would be this not happen-too-you... ! Mercy's given; mercy's- shown, I figure-now- if I'd offered more- myself earlier, now- with me this fate, to have happened- I don't know still- this-way-maybe, then, it-wouldn't. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmf2jiyYKqQ
