Rage

What is rage, where does it come from?
Why does it happen, why does it control you
Rage
It takes your mind, body and soul.
It is its own demon, a volcano within
Like the lava that flows from it
Destroying everything in its path
Destroying everyone in view
Like the grapes of wrath
The inner peace you once knew
Is no longer valid
Rage has come and stole your faith
It has come to take your soul
And in a flash the rage is gone
Look at the damage it has caused
No regret no remorse unless
You take back your soul
Your mind and your body
Rage
What is rage, where does it come from?
Why does it happen, why does it control you
It’s an explosion from deep within
You don’t know its coming
You can’t control it
Rage
It causes pain
It causes injury
It causes death
It causes immoral thoughts
You can’t change what it did
You can only hope you never see it again
It’s a battle within, a battle that can be won
But who will win, you!
Or
Rage…
