Racism and Violence-Black and White

More death and destruction, we now see first-hand.
Minneapolis is on fire because of one damn man.
When you treat people like animals, that’s how they will act.
Respect needs to be given and this my friends is a fact.

What can we do? When will peace be restored?
Civilization has been rattled because of one man scorned.
The state police take up position along with the national guard.
Man has made his decision and will forever be scarred.

We have gone back in time instead of moving forward.
Black and White again clash in a chaotic disorder.
Downtown is on fire and violence takes hold.
We all need God’s help as this evil unfolds.

I have been told I am racist because I see humans and not skin.
If this is so wrong, then where do I begin?
All life needs respect, this starts right here with me.
I control how I act, maybe this is the key.

I know people are angry and rightly so but it seems some troublemakers have used his death as an excuse to carry out even more violence and mayhem, George Floyd would not have wanted this to happen. Many innocent people are suffering who have done nothing wrong. Tom

I don't know what the answer is but something needs to change. Life cannot continue this way. We just had two police officers shot here in Grand Forks and one of them died. He had a 10 month old baby. God help us

They are just burning everything now, the national guard is now there. This is not going to end well. More people are going to die which is very unfortunate. This cop that killed George had 18 complaints against him and he still had his job. They should have gotten rid of him a long time ago and this would not be happening.
