Racing Thoughts

Racing Thoughts

In her mind,it's hard to unwind,
                                    racing thoughts all entwined.
                                           Things left unclear,
As she looks in the mirror.
                                  Battered face and Battered mind,
This is what he left behind.
                                            No where to turn,
                                        Why doesn't she learn?
                                With racing thoughts all entwined,
                                        What next will see find?
Empty promises and full of lies,
Does he even look in her eyes?
In her mind it's hard to unwind,
                                 with racing thoughts all entwined
