Race
I marvel at what we've become,
The species born from every sun,
Who think we occupy one space,
Yet part of us is everyplace...
The fabric we're emersed within,
With stitching closer than our skin,
It binds us deeper than our thoughts,
So what we dream is always sought...
I marvel at what will be,
As we branch off from this tree,
Conscious of some other plane,
Religious text cannot explain...
But even if some holy grail,
Could bring the truth into this tale,
Evolution makes us wait,
The time it takes to imitate...
And all the things that we are freeing,
Will help us become better beings,
So when its time to take our place,
We're not divided by our race...
