Rabies

Last year I was forced to shoot my Great Dane. Killing my dog has brought about a great deal of pain. Before he got the rabies, he was friendly and had a lot of vigor. My heart shriveled up in my chest when I pulled the trigger. I especially feel bad because I was too cheap to pay for a rabies shot. Because of my irresponsibility and stinginess, I sure am hurting a lot. If you own a pet, please consider what you may have to lose. Please get your pet his or her shots or you may wind up in my shoes. (THIS IS A FICTIONAL POEM.)

Good reminder to pet owners..With the economical crisis some people are in dire straights just to eat and live. They showed a film of a man being attacked by a rabid animal.I can't remember what species it was but it was small like maybe a fox. This was caught on outside video cameras in a parking lot at a business..That animal jumped all the way up to that mans high chest and jaw area..The animal just keep jumping and biting and scratching..People inside called for help and the man got away..Sara
